America Ferrera has signed onto an independent film focusing on the war in Iraq. Tentatively titled American Tragic, Ferrera will play the wife of a young soldier, played by actor Ryan O’Nan, who has trouble readjusting to civilian life when he returns to his small hometown. A story I am sure so many of our troops can relate to.
Ferrera will also executive produce the project which means big bucks if the movie is a hit. She is scheduled to begin production in February in New Mexico.
