Frank Sinatra Is One of Diddy's 'Imaginary Friends'
He may have his hands full as a rapper, actor, and CEO, but Diddy is never one to be all business and no pleasure. In his latest TV ad, he manages to cover both simultaneously by paying homage to Frank Sinatra.
But recent days haven't been a total party. Last week, Diddy had surgery to repair his right rotator cuff.
Still, injury or no injury, the hip hop mogul still knows how to get down.
"There's nights in Vegas when I have my Frankie baby with me. That's right, Frank Sinatra is with me. Call me crazy. I'm not afraid to say I have imaginary friends," Diddy quips. "And Frank is one of them."
A tuxedoed Diddy hosts a swanky house party in Ciroc Vodka's newest commercial that evokes Sinatra's era. It was shot in black and white at one of Sinatra's California homes and features the late singer's classic, "Come Fly With Me."
"He's always influenced me and naturally inspired me," Diddy, who announced his partnership with the vodka brand last year, tells PEOPLE. "So this was me honoring Sinatra, the Rat Pack, and the style and sophistication of that time."
Although generations apart, Diddy, 38, says he has a lot in common with Ol' Blue Eyes, like entertaining.
"I love showing people a good time, throwing parties and seeing people have fun. That's me," says Diddy. "And Frank was the same. He loved entertaining."
The soiree that's seen in the Ciroc commercial actually lasted six hours – and got a little wild.
"Somebody got naked and got into the pool. Actually two people did. And one of them was me," Diddy admits. "We have that footage locked away and in a safe. I always keep cameras rolling. You never know what may happen."
Skinny-dipping aside, the hip hop mogul is said to favor Sinatra so much so that, according to Diddy, rapper Chuck D of Public Enemy dubbed him the "Black Sinatra" a few years ago. He doesn't take the title lightly.

Selena Gomez Named Unicef Spokesperson
Selena Gomez has been named the latest celebrity Unicef spokesperson. She was hired for the organization’s 2008 trick-Or-Treat campaign, which encourages children to help the peers who are worse off than they are around the world. This is the campaign’s 58th year.
Unicef feels really lucky to have gotten someone like Selena to work with them. Unicef President Carly Stern says, "We are thrilled to have Selena be a part of the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program this year. Young people can relate to Selena, and she is a great role model who we believe will greatly enhance the visibility of the program."
Selena says, "I am extremely excited to be this year's Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson. I want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world and show them that Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is such a great, fun way to get involved."
Well Selena is certainly the it girl when it comes to tweens, so having her do this send a really good message to the young generation.

CosmoGirl Folds!!!
Hearst Magazines’s CosmoGirl is being shut down, reports WWD.
The teenage spin-off of Cosmopolitan, which targeted teenage girls and featured fashion and celebrities, will finish off with its December issue. (Scarlett Johansson was just featured on its November 2008 cover.)
CosmoGirl’s subscriber base will be folded into fellow Hearst title Seventeen.
Editor in chief Susan Schulz will be “staying on at Hearst to work on special projects.”

Breaking up with Jennifer Aniston has brought out John Mayer’s macho side!
The crooner recently spent the day with Marines at Air Station New River and Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.
“Believe me when I say that the day was life-changing,” John said of his visit to the base, which included shooting a machine gun, sparring with marines trained in the martial art of Krav Maga and visiting wounded Iraq veterans.
“It was an awesome day,” Staff Sgt. Angela Mink tells OK!. “I think John would make a good marine — but I wouldn’t want him to give up the blues guitar!”

In an interview with Glamour, actress Keira Knightley talked about her discomfort with doing nude scenes on film. Don't misunderstand, she'll do them, she just won't like it.
Pamela Anderson excluded, do any of the Hollywood actresses really like it? Most of the time, it's all about the paycheck.
"I detest unnecessary nudity and what it says about women in society. I think you see a lot of films where, oh, yes, the woman gets her breasts out again and runs around naked for no reason," she told the magazine.

Johnny Depp’s longtime girlfriend, and mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis isn’t a stranger to fame, but she’s intimidated by the display of it. Although she’s appeared on the arm of her world famous partner, and has been famous in France since she was 14, as a singer, actress and model, she still shies away from the scrutiny of the red carpet.
The French singer says she and partner Johnny Depp deliberately shun the showbiz lifestyle and she feels uncomfortable when forced to attend glamorous events or socialise with other celebrities.
She admitted: “The red carpet is not something I really know how to work. It intimidates me. I feel very tiny.
“I don’t have famous neighbours and if I did, I’d avoid them. I don’t live the jet-set.
“I’m really lucky. I do stay in wonderful houses, hotels and that’s amazing but we’re not very sociable at all. We don’t go to parties or premieres.”

It’s nearly impossible to hate Vanessa Paradis, even though you want to because she has Johnny Depp. She’s naturally beautiful, never bothering to fix what others see as imperfections with her teeth. She has a unique and natural style, often criticized on the red carpet, but like Depp, just continues doing her own thing. And her sweet dedication to Johnny and their children makes even the most covetous woman happy for Depp that he has her.
Vanessa, 35 - who has been dating the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star for 10 years - also revealed she isn’t sure she could treat another man as well as she treats Johnny.
She added to Elle magazine: “Maybe I’m a good girlfriend because I’m his girlfriend. I’m not sure I’d be a good girlfriend to anyone else.”

I once watched a clip of an interview of Paradis where she was sat alone in a room, the interview voice coming in over speakers, and she was surrounding by televisions with pictures of Depp on them. When talking about meeting and falling in love with him, she cannot concentrate because his face is in front of her, she is so in love with him even after years of being with him that she is caught up just in the image of his face. You can’t watch the interview without coming away feeling Vanessa Paradis deserves Johnny Depp.

Helen Mirren is hot for Russell Brand
British commedian Russell Brand is getting ready to start filming an adaptation of The Tempest with Helen Mirren, and he’s very excited about it. Brand, who likes the ladies, has announced his desire to get into Mirren’s garb during shooting.
Russ will star alongside Dame Helen, who won an Oscar for her royal role, in a new film version of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
Rampant Russell, set to play jester Trinculo, confessed his saucy plan to us at our Pride of Britain Awards.
He said of Helen, infamous for getting her kit off for the camera: “She is so hot. There’s something about her that drives me wild.
“She’s so sexy and enchanting, just look at her form.
“They’re going to have to hold me back when we start work. I’ll be all over her. I don’t know how I’ll get any work done.”

According to Mirren, she’s used to the attention, though. She says she has admirers all the time, and that they keep getting younger. I don’t doubt it, the woman is unbelievable in a bikini and she’s 63-years old, she’s the quintessential Mrs. Robinson for a couple generations of men. Dame Helen has been with director Taylor Hackford for more than 20 years, married for 11 of them, and I’ve never heard any rumors of affairs. She’s even worked with Jeremy Irons, I know that would push the limits of my marriage vows.
Russell’s got his work cut out for him, but something tells me he’s a persistent guy and will keep trying. Mirren will be counting the days until the movie wraps just to get away from him. If you’re not into it, Brand’s intensity could wear thin if he was directing it straight toward you. I’d like to think he’s more professional than that, but I get the feeling I’d be disappionted. He seems to like making people just a little uncomfortable with his sexuality, too. Helen may soon come to regret confessing that she finds Russell’s skinny jeans irresistible.

Judge Denies Christie Brinkley Restraining Order Against Ex

A Long Island judge has denied Christie Brinkley's request for a temporary restraining order barring ex-husband Peter Cook from seeing their children this weekend in the wake of his revealing 20/20 interview set to air Friday.
Lawyers for both sides were in court Wednesday to discuss the temporary restraining order.
On Thursday, Brinkley's lawyer, Robert Stephan Cohen, issued the following statement on the judge's ruling: "The court order mandates that since Peter Cook has the children this weekend, his parenting has to be away from his home and he can't expose them to the 20/20 broadcast. Christie Brinkley's sole concern is to protect her children."
A source close to Cook explains that Brinkley fought for the temporary restraining order "because the kids are seen in footage during the 20/20 interview."
The Cook source added, "I find it silly that someone who not only allows her children to be in the media but encourages it would have a complaint like this."
In the TV interview, which comes three months after Cook and Brinkley's divorce was settled, he tells Barbara Walters, "I'm not the ... pervert that I've been painted to be."
James Winkler, an attorney for Cook, told PEOPLE after the court decision: "The judge denied her request to suspend visitation. Mr. Cook did agree to take the children out of the area on a little trip this weekend and that he would not expose the children to that interview, which he had no intention of doing anyway."
